Got My Fix
Guys, I got my fix! As I said in my last review, I have been enjoying trying out Stitch Fix, which is an online personal shopping/styling site. This is now my third Fix and they’ve gotten better each time! For the first time, I kept two items and loved all the pieces. They do a great job of accepting and responding to all feedback; their user interface is excellent and their customer service is awesome! Though I feel like my relaxing summer time is just beginning, I’m also starting to get excited for fall clothes. There’s only so long that I can wear an endless rotation of shorts and tee shirts. The two pieces from my fix that I decided to keep work well both for now and later, so I thought I’d style them the way I will wear them now and in the fall. Today, I’ll share the first of the Now and Later posts.
Top: Everly (via Stitch Fix)//Jorts: DIY (similar)//Belt: Boden (similar)//Shoes: Franco Sarto (similar)
I absolutely love this blouse; the coral and turquoise color combo is definitely bold but feels remarkably wearable. For summer, I’d pair it with a casual pair of cutoffs and simple sandals.
I’d wear this combo to a barbecue with friends or out for a casual date night with the husband. Comfortable and eye-catching. Also, please excuse my banged-up knees; I had way too much fun at the Tough Mountain Challenge this weekend!
Blazer: Target (looks identical!)//Cords: J.Jill (similar)//Loafers: Old Navy (similar)//Necklace: Forever 21 (similar)
To transition to the fall, I’d pair this top with neutral pants; white shown here, but navy would work, too. I love it with this blazer, especially with the polka dot cuffs as a tiny bit of pattern mixing.
Dressing it up a bit more, I added this fun chain necklace from Forever 21. The color matched perfectly and I love the way it cuts across the chevron pattern.
I will definitely be wearing this outfit to work this fall. Perfect for the elementary school classroom!
Next week, I’ll have the next set of Now and Later posts…and don’t forget to come back by for my first ever super exciting giveaway!
Check out Stitch Fix and let me know what you think!
