Sweater Weather?

As much as I love summer, you guys, I miss sweater weather! Growing up in Maine, regardless of how hot the day was, you’d always need some sort of light layer in the evening. That is the recipe for my favorite kind of day. The other day it was slightly cool and rainy in the morning, so I decided it was sweater weather! I love this casual, neutral sweater paired with my neon shorts.

I also decided to try my hand at the twisted side ponytail that I shared in my hair inspiration post. I really liked the way it looked at first, but the second I got out into the humid day and was walking around, it turned into a bit of a frizzy mess (these pictures were taken at the end of the day…thus, frizzy mess). Sadly, I think my hair is still just too short for this! Soon, soon it will be long again.

    I am dying for sweater and blazer weather. It cooled off enough here the last 4-5 days where evenings you might needed a light sweater or cardigan but it is not close to being over (summer that is). LOL Love your sweater and that cool side ponytail.
