We are in love with our new home!! It’s a block from the ocean and we can walk to restaurants and coffee shops and parks…all things that we love. We spent all last weekend painting, so it already looks way different. This weekend, we start moving in furniture. I can’t wait to share after photos with you once we get settled in!

These shots are pre-food poisoning on my lovely trip to DC this weekend. The Jefferson Memorial is quite the backdrop! Also, this outfit was perfect for walking all over town. Comfortable, but I still felt pulled together. And, with a quick change, it became a new outfit for dinner:
Please pardon my brevity on this, one of the most stressful mornings of my life! We are closing on our first home today and since late last night, it’s been on-again off-again for today. If I never talk to a bank on the phone again it will be too soon. BUT good news, now it looks like it’s on-again so off we go to sign our lives away! In the meantime, don’t forget to enter my circle scarf and clutch giveaway here!

Okay friends, I hope you’ll indulge me sharing some photos from our trip to Barcelona! I’ll try not to over-innundate you, but I’m excited to share. Today’s photos are from our very first day. We arrived after a red-eye from JFK and did our best to stay awake all day…with mixed results!
