I recently was introduced a really interesting online personal shopping service similar to Birchbox but for clothes. It’s called Stitch Fix. Now, I’m probably not the target client because I really enjoy shopping for myself and finding unique interesting pieces on my own; however, I’ve found pieces through Stitch Fix that I never would have thought to try on myself and then loved! I’ve also found that each time I get a fix (they send five pieces at a time), they’ve targeted my style a bit better. When you are returning, you can give item-by-item feedback in order to let them better understand what you’re looking for.

I just got my most recent fix this weekend and thought I’d share it with you. I styled each piece in two ways (one more casual and one more dressy) with existing pieces of my wardrobe. I’d love input from you, dear reader, about which pieces would make great additions to my closet!

I love their branding and the personalized notes in each fix.

Piece 1: Cobalt Blue Midi Skirt

Look 1: Shirt: Lands’ End Canvas//Scarf: J.Crew Factory//Shoes: Indigo by Clarks

Look 2: Shirt: Brooks Brothers (thrifted for $2!)//Belt: J.Crew//Shoes: Sofft

Piece 2: Coral Racerback Blouse (and Piece 3: Envelope Clutch)

Look 1: Skirt: Ruche//Belt: J.Crew//Shoes: Franco Sarto

Look 2: Pants: J.Crew//Shoes: Kenneth Cole (old)//Scarf: Gift

Piece 4: Black Silk Smock-waisted Shorts

Look 1: Top and Necklace: Forever 21//Shoes: Old Navy

Look 2: Top and Belt: Target//Shoes: Old Navy

Piece 5: Striped Halter Blouse

Look 1: Blazer: Target//Pants: Old Navy//Shoes: Lands’ End Canvas

Look 2: Pants: H&M (thrifted)//Shoes: Old Navy

As you can probably tell from my body language and facial expression, I really don’t like the striped shirt on me. Also, the shorts photograph pretty well but on my body shape they are wildly unflattering in person. I need more structured bottoms because of my wider hips. That being said, I really like the coral shirt, the blue skirt, and the purse. In the comments, let me know what you think I should keep!
